Kim Bobenhausen

Counselor Intern

Counselor interns are completing their master’s degrees to prepare to work full-time in the mental health field. They are under supervision by educators and licensed professionals and they offer reduced-rate sessions for $30.

I am comfortable with individuals 16+. I offer a client-centered, integrative approach to therapy, rooted in radical acceptance of the client’s experience and perspective.  My work is grounded in collaboration—walking alongside clients as they cultivate insight, reclaim personal power, and foster integrated mind-body health. I use techniques from internal family systems, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing and somatic work. My areas of focus include healing from chronic pain, navigating grief and loss, and supporting the complexities of parenting.
