Kim Bobenhausen
Associate Counselor
Our life journey is a story meant to be shared. Whether you're navigating pain or celebrating joy, we all need spaces where our experiences are heard and honored—where the moments that shape us are met with compassion. As Maya Angelou wrote, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” I believe in the healing power of storytelling, especially when shared in a space of safety and trust.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, grounded in the belief that mind and body work together to process emotion. I’ll help you explore how your physical and emotional responses shape your thoughts—and how those thoughts may guide or limit you. I draw from internal family systems, somatic practices, polyvagal theory, and narrative therapy.
I support individuals and couples facing challenges such as parenting, family dynamics, grief, and identifying personal values. I have a particular focus on mind-body health and walk alongside those living with chronic conditions. My work often includes pain reprocessing and emotion-focused therapies to help clients relieve chronic pain.
