Virginia Bizzell, M.A., LPC-MHSP

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 17 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, and parents. I have worked extensively with children and teens in the Chattanooga area, as well as with clients online across several states. Whether you or your child are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, anger, adjustment difficulties, substance misuse, eating disorder concerns, or family challenges, you do not have to walk through it alone.

I bring experience from a variety of settings, including school-based therapy, community mental health, intensive in-home therapy, eating disorder treatment, outpatient wraparound care, and work with incarcerated individuals. My approach is individualized and collaborative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Family Based Treatment for eating disorders, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused CBT.

My goal is to create a non-judgmental, authentic, and empathetic space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe each client is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet each person’s needs while helping them build practical skills, strengthen relationships, and enhance their overall well-being.
